People First makes signature-cut shirts, outerwear and stable basics from Italy's finest forgotten textiles. We work slowly, in small numbers, with local ateliers in the Baltics. This is not a store. It is a record of the people, materials and decisions behind the work.
Deadstock COTTON THAT FEELS LIKE SILK. Oversized shirt and wide-leg pants.
Made in limited numbers. ONLY 14 SETS.
SHOP NOWFor over 15 years, our founder worked at the heart of the fashion industry — the noise that often hides the person behind the garment. PEOPLE FIRST is our commitment to the slow and the steady. We went backward to move forward.
The real beauty of a garment lives in the hands that shape it. We partner with small, local ateliers in the Baltics and honour the true cost of expert labour — using time-honoured techniques on every piece.
We hunt for high-end deadstock — the world’s finest Italian fabrics left behind by the great fashion houses. These materials are finite. Once the fabric is gone, it is gone forever.
We replaced complexity with clarity. Five pieces, fully prepared for any occasion. Stable basics are the only true timeless luxury — and we believe clothes should be as understandable as the people who wear them.
Our signature-cut shirt, drawn from a single bolt of forgotten Italian cloth and sewn by hand in the Baltics. Personally numbered, paired with a textured card of authenticity — a timeless piece designed to outlive the trends of today.
We hunt for high-end deadstock — the world’s finest Italian fabrics left behind by the great fashion houses. Forgotten bolts of cotton, wool and jersey, often only forty or fifty metres at a time. We do not commission new fibre. We only use what already exists.
This makes each signature shirt a true rarity. Personally numbered, paired with a textured card of authenticity, each piece is a unique chapter in a limited story.
“After working with clothes for more than 15 years, I can confidently say there is no need to implement rocket science into your designs. Everything needs to be understandable — and clothes are not an exception. I wanted a brand where you can buy five pieces and be fully prepared for any occasion.”
